ICEM 2026

GBA Group Pharma will be represented at the 14th International Conference on Environmental Mutagens, ICEM 2026, in Edinburgh. Held every four years, the international conference brings together scientists, industry representatives and regulatory experts from around the world.

The conference focuses on the latest findings on how chemical, physical and biological agents damage the genome, how cells respond to induced DNA damage and the potential health consequences of unrepaired damage. Regulatory advances and innovative approaches to genetic toxicology risk assessment will also be key areas of discussion.

The programme includes quantitative mutagenicity analysis, Benchmark Dose approaches, Error-Corrected Sequencing, studies on N-nitrosamines, somatic and germline mutations, and the combined use of Micronucleus and Comet assays. Computational toxicology, artificial intelligence and QSAR models will also play an important role.

With numerous symposia, plenary lectures and poster presentations, ICEM provides a comprehensive platform for international scientific and regulatory exchange.
